6x6 One Sheet Wonder Templates featuring Sunny Studio

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing how to use up 6x6 patterned papers without creating any patterned paper scraps. A friend shared that this style of cardmaking can be referred to as a one sheet wonder. I'm not sure who originated the style, as I have seen many crafters refer to it, but please let me know if I should be crediting a specific crafter. Today I am sharing two different ways to cut up a 6x6 piece of paper that will result in 2 of the exact same card. I am using cardstock to mat the patterned paper pieces which will create some cardstock scraps. In the video I share some ideas of what to do with those scraps.

30 Cards with Doodlebug Pumpkin Spice 6x6 Paper Pad

 

Hello crafty friends! Today I have another 6x6 Paper Pad tutorial featuring Doodlebug. I am obsessed with Doodlebug 6x6 pads because it is so easy to create a bunch of cards without using many extra supplies. I think their designs are adorable and I can easily whip up a bunch of cards for card drives like Cards for Hospitalized Kids. I made 2 of each design but I used different stickers on many of them. If you see two cards in the photos, it is to show the two different stickers chosen. If you see just one of a card then both cards I made are exactly the same. Keep scrolling to see pictures of different designs and get some measurements. I also used an amazing Taylored Expressions stamp and die combo to stamp and diecut many sentiments at once as shown in the video.  I also added some twine to use up from my stash.

39 Christmas Cards with Simple Stories Jingle All the Way 6x8 Paper Pad

 

Hello crafty friends! Today I have another 6x6 Paper Pad tutorial this time featuring Simple Stories Jingle All the Way 6x8 Paper Pad and ephemera. There are cut aparts in the paper pad which made for some very easy designs. The designs are cute and simple so I can easily whip up a bunch of cards for card drives like Cards for Hospitalized Kids. I made 2 of many designs and 4 of others because this paper pad came with 2 of each sheet, but the size of the sheets meant that one sheet could make two card fronts. Keep scrolling to see pictures of different designs and get some measurements. I added in a single sentiment stamp cut with a banner die (finished banners measure .5 by 2.5 inches) and some adhesive gems. I made my card bases out of kraft paper because the paper had a lot of ivory so I liked the kraft better than white in this instance. Any leftovers are glued inside the cards for added decoration.

24 Christmas Cards with Michaels Recollections Holiday Homestead 6x6 Paper Pad

 

Hello crafty friends! Today I have another 6x6 Paper Pad tutorial this time featuring Michaels Recollections Holiday Homestead 6x6 Paper Pad. There are cut aparts in the paper pad which made for some very easy designs. Their designs are pretty and I can easily whip up a bunch of cards for card drives like Cards for Hospitalized Kids. If you want more info on donating cards or get jokes for your cards please check out my Card Drive Resources page. Also note that this paper pad has glitter and while it doesn't shed very much (didn't notice any coming off) some organizations ask for cards without glitter.
