Digiments is holding their second weekly contest. This means that if you head over to the Digiments site you can download a free Digiment and then when you use it to make a project and link it back to the site you will have a chance to win the entire June release. This is a BIG prize filled with 30 brand new Digiments! But after you see how fabulous and fun these Digiments are to work with you won't have to worry about waiting until June because May's Digiments are available now for only $1 each! So head over to the site and check out the contest. I combined the contest Digiments with the Pink Elephant sketch challenge. I love how the simple sketch opens itself to so many possibilities. The DT over at TPE has come up with some fabulous stuff this week. For the card I used GCD Studios Spring All Over papers which I'm still loving even though spring has past.

Two Cards to Share
This first card is for this week's Use It challenge and the ICS sketch. The Use It challenge was quite complex. You had to make a square card, with a summer theme and sentiment, use twine, a flower, a pin, and ribbon, and punches. Then I combined it with the ICS sketch. It was quite a challenge to get all that on one 4x4 card.
This second card was made using a sketch from Stamp Something. The frog stamp is from Colorbok Friendly Forest. The papers are from Colorbok as well and came in a pack of chipboard. The chipboard alone was a great deal but it was cool to get some bonus paper. The plaid paper I used makes this card also fit the plaid challenge from last week at 365 Cards.

Let's Scrap Sketch
I did this LO based off of Renee's sketch from Let's Scrap. I loved the sketch and knew it would translate into an easy LO. The picture is of my little cousin and her dog. I used some old DCWV paper, BG rub-ons, green foil Thickers, and a Making Memories journaling stamp. I love those journaling stamps, they make it quick and easy to add journaling to any page. Here's the sketch if you'd like to give it a try.
In other, exciting, news I will be joining Renee's DT as a member of the card DT at Let's Scrap. They have lots of great challenges all the time and I look foward to working with all the lovely ladies there.

Mojo Boosting Challenges
This morning I didn't have much mojo but was determined to work on something so I made this simple card based off of the 365 Cards use five squares challenge. I also incorporated the Pink Elephant monogram challenge. I needed a few more thank you cards and this did the trick. Also a DT member at Let's Scrap challenged us to use faux or real stitches so I added them to my squares. I guess I just needed lots of challenges on one card to get my mojo going.

GCD Studios Sketch
GCD Studios is having another sketch challenge and for a card this time so I pulled out my Spring All Over pack and got to playing. I decided to to use just green and orange for a simple bold look. Everything is from GCD except the stickles, ribbon, and gems. The contest is only open until tomorrow so hurry over if you want to check it out. Also this works for 365 Cards challenge to use your favorite manufacturer on the majority of your card. Well I have many favorites but GCD is at the top of the list and this card is almost all GCD.

Cuttlebug Challenge and Pink Elephant Inspirational Play Along Featuring a Digiment
When Michelle sent me this week's Digiment for the weekly challenge I knew it would be perfect for a gift so I combined with the Cuttlebug 3D challenge and Pink Elephant Inspirational Play Along. I loved the bright color and flowers of the plate that was inspiration at the Pink Elephant so I incorporated that into my project. Also since the Cuttlebug challenge was for something 3D not a card I was determined to lug the bug out. I embossed the background with swiss dots and cut out the flower in the corner.
The Digiment I used is part of the weekly challenge over at Digiments. If you make a card with this free sentiment you will be entered to win the ENTIRE June release and if the May release is any indication it is a prize you will be using over and over. So hop on over to Digiments and get your free stamp to enter to win.

Two Combos
After the craziness of this week I wanted to catch up on some challenges for I've done some combos. ICS has a new DT this week so go check out the work of those talented ladies! Here's my take on this week's sketch. I also used the Card-a-licious challenge of pink, brown, and scallops on this card. The papers used are DCWV Rock Queen Stack and those stamps are from Making Memories. And since these papers are from Rock Queen plus the saying I think it work for the Corrosive Challenge Blog challenge this week to use a rock music theme. Corrosive Challenges is a relatively new challenge blog with lots of fun varied challenges. Defintely worth checking out.
This is the LO I did for Vintage Plum's Star Search Fussy Cuts challenge but also for Use Your Stash Glitter challenge. Since I love to use Stickles on just about anything that challenge was a no brainer for me. Vintage Plum is a great kit company that holds lots of challenge and has fun tutorials so you should definitely check them out.
Caardvarks and Card Patterns
First I want to let you know that Digiments is gearing up for a new contest/giveaway and this card is a huge hint about the challenge so join us on Monday for a free Digiment and your chance to win BIG!
I made this card for the Caardvarks quote challenge while following this week's Card Patterns sketch. Digiments makes so many fabulous quotes that pretty much any of the Digiment cards I've made these past few days would have qualified for the Caardvarks challenge. I love the simplicity of this week Card Pattern because you could make a cute card in no time with it. I used Basic Grey Boxer papers and my EK Success punch for the scalloped edges which is a bit hard to see.

Pink Elephant and Card Patterns Combo
Between finals, moving out, and organizing after the move I haven't had much crafting time. So this week I combined the Card Patterns sketch and the Pink Elephant challenge. I love the Card Patterns sketch because of the repeated elements on the top. Once again I used my new Hero Arts set. I think I'm addicted to that set. I also printed out one of the new Digiments for my sentiment. I love how useful and easy to use they are especially for the price ($1 each). The Pink Elephant challenge was to use light blue, medium or dark blue, green and white. It's a great easy combo and perfect for a card for a little boy. Have a fabulous day!

Here's my two cards for the Digiments release. There are 25 new Digiments being released today. They are being sold for $1 each or you can buy all 25 for $20.
These cards are both from the Inspirational set of Digiments.
I've made another Digiment card but I'm in the middle of moving out of my dorm so I'll share it tomorrow.

Sneak Peek of Digiments
I made two cards especially for the Digiments release this Wednesday and I'm excited to share them with you but I'm going to hold out. Here's a peek at what I've made though.
Remember there's still time to enter your card in the contest to win the ENTIRE May release! So if you've been wishing for some new goodies (aren't we all) this is a way to get your hands on some for free.
Also I wanted to share this blog award I received from fellow Digiment DT member Jennifer.
There's a couple ladies I would like to share it with:
Tricia
Suzanne
Karen
They are all super talented sweet ladies who's blogs I am inspired by regularly.
Have a fab day and I'll be back on Wednesday with pictures of my full cards!

Digiments Challenge
Over at Digiments there is a challenge to win the entire May release! Having seen the release I want to assure you that its a BIG prize and full of lots of sentiments you can use over and over again. The best part is when you participate you get a free digital sentiment. This is the card I made with the free sentiment. So head on over and pick up your freebie to make an awesome graduation card (those are coming up soon) or maybe a card for a friend who's starting a new adventure in life. Remember the release date for May is this Wednesday. I'll be providing some sneak peeks of what I've been working on in the next few days as the release gets closer and closer. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!

ICS #15
First up is my card for this week's ICS sketch. I love the skunk from the Colorbok Friendly Forest Line but my boyfriend always criticizes the cards I make with it because he says the skunks have nothing to do with the occasion so when my new stamp set came with the "so stinkin cute" stamp I knew I had to make a card for the skunk that would 'make sense.' So here it is. I used SEI papers.
The next card was also made with my new Hero Arts stamp set. The challenge this week at the Hero Arts blog was to make a card based off of the Win a Day on the Blog entires. I loved tanyac21's card That featured a little scene and so I did one of my own. I'm loving my new stamp set and have been using it all week.

Pink Elephant Circles and Scallops
First here's my take for this week's Pink Elephant challenge to use scallops and circles. It's a post it note holder but doesn't have any post-it notes in it at the moment because I don't have any. But I plan to add some because I think it will make a cute mother's day gift. It's very simple to make and I got the idea from the Vintage Plum Creative Cafe (great weekly challenge with tutorials).
Next is a card I made custom for a lady I met at a flea market. My friend wanted to sell jewelery there because it was supposed to be a craft show as well (but turns out it wasn't a place for crafters selling their wares) so I tagged along with my friend. It was mostly just a long hot morning for the two of us but I was delighted to make this card. I think everyone deserves a special and beautiful wedding card. Some of the details may be hard to see but the heart is glitter embossed and I used BG Boxer papers. I really hope she likes it.
Last but not least I want to share with you all a way to win some gorgeous digital stamps. Digiments is holding its first official contest in honor of its grand opening. Michelle the creator makes beautiful digital sentiments called digiments and will be releasing her first line on May 13th. If you'd love to win some fun sentiments that can be resized to fit any card or project visit the site. I have seen the collection and have even gotten to play with them and I know you'll love them if you win.

Vintage Plum Crop
One of the challenges this weekend at the Vintage Plum crop was to make an animal inspired card. It was the only challenge I had time for since I've been really busy with finals. But I didn't remember to post it in the gallery in time to enter the challenge. I also had the Caardvarks tree challenge in mind when I made the card (but I was too late for that one as well). Besides finals I have been working with the gorgeous sentiment stamps from Digiments but that work will have to be under wraps until the big release on the 13th and I can't wait for you all to see these amazing stamps. I've also been working on a special order wedding card which I will be able to share soon. Well I've got to get back to the books... Thanks for stopping by!

Digiments and ICS 14
I had a bit of a busy week so I only created two cards this week, but with National Scrapbooking Day this weekend as well as Vintage Plum's crop I hope to work on some new this weekend. While still managing to start studying for finals.
Here's my take on the ICS Sketch this week. I just knew I wanted to work with BG Mellow with this sketch because I had the flower chipboard that I thought would work with the sketch. I used glitter gel pens to accent the chipboard flower.
Here's my audition for the Digiments DT. Digiments is a digital stamp company that will be focusing on sentiment stamps. Michelle the owner and creator is a lovely talented lady. She's soon going to be selling her beautiful stamps online for very reasonable prices so keep an eye on their new blog. I can't wait to see the new DT!
