Newton's Nook July Release + 2 Year Celebration: Summer Scoops

Backward Stamping with Ombre Inks by Jess Gerstner featuring Newton's Nook Designs Summer Scoops

Hello crafty friends! Today I have the next set from the Newton's Nook July Release. This release is especially exciting because it is the 2 year anniversary of Newton's Nook! So for today's card I tried something a bit different and stamped with the back of the ice pop images from the set. Be sure to check out my video below for more on how I made this card.

This stamp set is perfect for summer cards or ice cream lovers. I'm excited to color up other images from this set and to add touches of glossy accents to make these treats look realistic. Check out how to win this set below!

  12. As always I loved both your concepts for the new releases. I like how you challenge yourself to achieve your ideas with everyday supplies in place of the New in supplies that not everyone can afford. You do a great job 🌹🌟

  16. Love your technique here, Jess. It really makes for quick cardsm and the stamps look amazing with the ombre inks. I like how you made the layering panel with your inks as well - I must remember to do this instead of searching for the perfect colour of cardstock for layering.
