Winter Birthday Card using Create a Smile Stamps

Winter Fox Birthday Card by Jess Gerstner using Create a Smile Stamps

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing a birthday card made with Create a Smile stamps. I really wanted to try to create a soft watercolor background and I thought these colors would be perfect for a winter scene. However I need a break from holiday card and so I decided to go with a birthday card. I love a good pun so I masked off the 'cool' from Cool Buddies to go with my large sentiment from the Make a Wish stamp set.  For a more detailed tutorial check out my video.

On a related note if you love critters, like this cute little fox I used, then I would love for you to join my new Facebook group Critter Loving Papercrafters. You will need to be approved to join but this is just to keep the spammers out. All others will be quickly approved. We have a lot of great people in the group already and I can't wait to see more projects.

Thank You Monkey Card by Jess Gerstner featuring Lawn Fawn Critters in the Jungle

Hello crafty friends! Welcome to the December Lawnscaping Facebook Inspiration Team Blog Hop sponsored by Ink Road. You should have arrived from Angel but there is a list at the bottom of the post to help you stay on track. This month we are featuring the color evergreen! I decided to try something a little unexpected. There are some beautiful holiday projects on this hop but I mixed it up with a thank you card featuring Critters in the Jungle.

Christmas with Winter Alpaca for Lawnscaping Challenges

Happy Holidays Card by Jess Gerstner using Lawn Fawn Winter Alpaca

Hello crafty friends! Today I'm sharing a card for the latest Lawnscaping challenge. Today's challenge is Christmas! We want to see your last minute Christmas projects or get a head start on next year and be sure to include some Lawn Fawn goodies. So for today's card I created a custom background with a stencil and then layered some embossed panels. I used the adorable alpaca from Winter Alpaca since I had an extra already cut from another project. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn Toboggan Together.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and Create a Smile Snow Dance Kit

Hello crafty friends! Today I have a card inspired by the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. As with all my posts in the hop you have a chance to win a coffee themed set by MFT by leaving a comment on my post. I would also love it if you joined me on Instagram or YouTube. If you decide to follow me on either of those channels leave a comment on a Coffee Lovers Hop picture or video for an extra entry.

For today's card I used the Create A Smile Snow Dance kit and the Coffee First set. The dancing reindeer from the set is just too cute and the little coffee cup is perfectly sized to go with your critter stamps. I just love the sentiment as well. It's one that is perfect for Christmas but also for many other occasions.

Recently Tupelo Designs LLC has started carrying Your Next Stamp and there are some cute ones but I knew I had to have this set for the hop. I love that the cookies worked great for background images without having to be colored but I can't wait to mask off a little plate of cookies too.

Coffee Themed Card using Lawn Fawn Stinkin Cute and Love You a Latte

Hello crafty friends! Today I have a card inspired by the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. As with all my posts in the hop you have a chance to win a coffee themed set by MFT by leaving a comment on my post. I would also love it if you joined me on Instagram or YouTube. If you decide to follow me on either of those channels leave a comment on a Coffee Lovers Hop picture or video for an extra entry.

I combined the brand new Stinkin Cute mini set with the Love You a Latte set. I know the coffee cup is huge for my little critter but I also think that makes it extra funny. I added a bit of detail with the stitched border dies and all the paper is from Lawn Fawn as well.
