 Hello crafty friends! I'm so excited to share Newton's Nook Designs August Release with you. This is a stop on the new release blog hop so be sure to read to the end so you'll know how to enter to win! Today I will be sharing Newton Dreams of New York. I know many Newton fans love to see his travels around the world and this latest trip is so fun. For today's card I tried my first spinner card. This was great because it allowed me to include two different Newtons from the set. I have a tutorial for you sharing my process and some things I learned along the way:


I learned it's a lot simpler than it may seem but that using a thicker string will probably help with the sagging. I hope the recipient will like it even if it's a bit imperfect.

Newton's Nook Designs August Release Beautiful Leaves

Hello crafty friends! I'm so excited to share Newton's Nook Designs August Release with you. This is a stop on the new release blog hop so be sure to read to the end so you'll know how to enter to win! Today I will be sharing Beautiful Leaves. I'm such a fan of the Beautiful Blossoms, Beautiful Blizzard and Beautiful Wings series so I'm excited to this new addition. For today's cards I'm sharing a fun way to use washi tape. I used a similar technique with a patterned tape recently but wanted to share how to use solid tape as I know it's more likely that you would have that in your stash. Check out my video tutorial below for more.


I also used the negative and positive to show some versatility utilizing the coordinating dies.

Newton's Nook Designs August Release Raccoon Rascals

Hello crafty friends! I'm so excited to share Newton's Nook Designs August Release with you. This is a stop on the new release blog hop so be sure to read to the end so you'll know how to enter to win! Today I will be sharing Raccoon Rascals. I've always been a huge fan of the raccoon from Sweetheart Tails so I was very excited to see a whole set of raccoons! I am in constant need of birthday cards so I created a simple scene and then added a birthday hat from the In Slow Motion set. All the coloring was done with Prismacolor pencils. Since it was so simple I don't have a video for you today but check back each day this week for new inspiration, videos, and chance to win!
