Hello crafty friends! Today I have a vellum flower card featuring Newton's Nook Designs Beautiful Blossoms and Simply Sentimental for the Newton's Nook Designs May Flowers blog hop. I embossed the flower in white on vellum and then colored the back with Copics to achieve the look of colored vellum. For more on my process check out the video below:

    Lovely card! I really like this flower stamp set... such pretty detail. BTW, you not alone with white embossing powders. I've had similar results and I"m thinking of trying the Hero Arts white powder - heard good things about it. Thanks for the great inspiration and your video!

    Beautiful card. There's something about white embossed vellum that just makes things so pretty and your use of kraft cardstock made the flowers stand out. Love it!
