Stenciled Day 4 Card 1
On day 4 Jennifer McGuire shared how to create your own stencils with your die cuts. I found some flexible plastic dividers in my classroom that were the perfect material and have been combining my more solid dies into fun stencils. This card uses a homemade grass and heart stencil. The puppy stamp is from Darcie Heart and Home. Picked is up at my LSS Paper Anthology.

Stenciled Day One Card 3
On this last card I used the fabulous Aspen Trees stencil and several colors of Distress Ink to create the background then I layered the bird stencil on top and heat embossed the birds. I never though of using my stencils for heat embossing but it certainly does add to their range of uses. Now I'm off to watch videos from Day Two and learn some more techniques.

Simon Says Stamp Emboss It
I've been working on valentines for Winter Sims Cards From the Heart Card Drive. Here's one using a Newton's Nook image, a Paper Smooches sentiment, some Lawn Fawn dies, Impression Obsession background stamp, and the Cuttlebug Swiss dots embossing folder. I'm entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Embossing challenge.

Freshly Made Sketches #117 and Simon Says Stamp
I'm working on Valentines for Winter's Cards From the Heart Card Drive. Please check out her website to find out how you can contribute. I used Freshly Made Sketch 117 for this card and I'm linking up to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge for Something New on account of that new to me plaid background paper that I combined with the very old brad and paper scraps. Card drives give me an excuse to make lots of cards and so I get to use up my older supplies easily. But it's a win-win because often the recipient has no idea what is actually an old supply vs a new one.
