Scrapping for Less April 2019 Kit

Hello crafty friends! I'm excited to share with you the latest Scrapping for Less kit of the month. I am a big fan of Scrapping for Less kits and I'm always able to make a bunch of cards with their kits. This month's spring critters theme was fun to play with. Be sure to participate in the full hop for your chance to win! Next up in the hop is at the bottom of the post.

Message from Scrapping for Less: Spring is Here! Finally! I know some of you in the northern states and other parts of the world may not be experiencing warm weather, so you can pretend with these beautiful stamps and spring papers. Our April Flavor of the Month kit is all about "Spring Critters" cute ones at that! So hop on along and get inspired to make some spring cards with this adorable kit. Head to the brand new website's Subscription page and see what we have to offer this month. Make sure to check out our Blog Hop so you can join in our Rafflecopter. All winners are announced each month in the Teresa Talks post on the blog on the first of the month.

Check out the video for the most details or keep scrolling for still pictures and quick tips.

I have 10 cards to share with you today. Most of them used the sketches included and I did focus on the main kit as opposed to the Banana Split level so that the ideas would be helpful to everyone picking up a kit.

These ducks were just too cute. I based my choice of Copic marker colors on the coordinating patterned papers within each mini kit.

Copic colors used:
Duck: Y11, 13, 15; V12, 15, 17; YG11, 13, 17; YR 14, 16
Bees and Hive: Y 11, 13, 15; C00, 1, 7, 9
Birds: B 34, 37, 39; R 35, 37, 39

I often hesitate to cut up those gorgeous full sheets of cardstock just to us tiny slivers on cards but I'm happy with the results and felt it was necessary to make some of the sketches work with the patterned paper.

Which do you like better the frog or the ducks? The frog was a bit faster to color and those cute little flower sequins add a great finishing touch.

The words on the patterned paper made for some easy quick cards and these were in fact some of the first I made to get the creative juices flowing.

Loved the pretty detail of these wooden butterflies!

The original stamp set had tails on these birds but when I accidentally tore one off I realized I liked the look better anyway and cut off the other tail.

I hope you've gotten some inspiration from my cards and enjoy checking out the rest of the hop! Next up in the hop is the talented Kristina!

Pink and Main March 2019 It's Party Card Kit

Cards with Pink and Main March 2019 It's a Party Card Kit

Hello crafty friends! Today I'm sharing all the cards I made with the Pink and Main March 2019 It's a Party Kit. This kit is currently sold out but I think their kits are a great value and if you are impressed with the contents I would recommend checking out future kits. Here's my video tutorial for the cards:

I technically made 20 cards but I made 4 of each of the 5 designs so there are not 20 unique cards. I used some sketches as inspiration and will link them below.

Hello crafty friends! I'm excited to share with you the latest Scrapping for Less kit of the month. I am a big fan of Scrapping for Less kits and I'm always able to make a bunch of cards with their kits. This month's baking theme was fun to play with.

Believe it or not I didn't own the Lawn Fawn pie set and was happy to use it for some fun hello cards and store it away for Thanksgiving. Gotta love stamp sets that work for holidays and all year round.

I was a little pressed for time this week and didn't get to color up Mini Baker Marci from LaLaLand Crafts but here's Mini Heart Cookies Luka and he is too cute! And that apron paper was probably my favorite paper from the whole kit.

Last but certainly not least, in fact it's my favorite stamp set, is the Scrapping for Less exclusive Cookie Mouse! Isn't he just adorable! I LOVE the fun pattern paper from his collection too.

I hope you enjoyed seeing a few cards from the kit and if you keep hopping you will be sure to get even more inspiration! The next person on the hop is Mary!

35 Cards with the Doodlebug Hello Collection

35 Cards with Doodlebug Designs Hello Card 6x6 Paper Pad

Hello crafty friends! Today I have another 6x6 Paper Pad tutorial featuring Doodlebug. I am obsessed with Doodlebug 6x6 pads because it is so easy to create a bunch of cards without using many extra supplies. I think their designs are adorable and I can easily whip up a bunch of cards for card drives like Cards for Hospitalized Kids. If you want more info on donating card please check out my Card Drive Resources page. So today I'm using the Doodlebug Hello Collection 6x6 paper pad while making 35 cards! To see it all in action check out the video.

I made 2 of many designs because this paper pad came with 2 of each sheet but there are some unique cards. Keep scrolling to see pictures of different designs and get some measurements.
