6x6 Paper Pad Tutorial with No Scraps- 54 Cards with Michaels Recollections Explosion Box Paper Pad

 

Hello crafty friends! Today's post/video is a slightly different take on a 6x6 paper pad tutorial. I will be using my One Sheet Wonders to use up an entire paper pad. I'm using some previously shared One Sheet Wonders and introducing the brand new template #20. With this process I can easily whip up a bunch of cards for card drives like Cards for Hospitalized Kids. Hello crafty friends! Today's post/video is a slightly different take on a 6x6 paper pad tutorial. I've done one other 6x6 paper pad tutorial similar to this in the past, but today I'm gathering the resources in a way that is hopefully more succinct and straight forward. With this process I can easily whip up a bunch of cards for card drives like Cards for Hospitalized Kids. 6x6 One Sheet Wonder Template #11 featuring Sunny Studio and Simon Says Stamp

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing how to use up 6x6 patterned papers without creating any patterned paper scraps. A friend shared that this style of cardmaking can be referred to as a one sheet wonder. I'm not sure who originated the style, as I have seen many crafters refer to it, but please let me know if I should be crediting a specific crafter. Today I am sharing how to cut up a 6x6 piece of paper that will result in 2 of the exact same card. However in order to mix up the patterns because this paper pad only has one color on both sides I am cutting 2 sheets for a total of 4 cards. I am using cardstock to mat the patterned paper pieces which will create some cardstock scraps. In the video I share some ideas of what to do with those scraps. In this blog post you can find a template for how to cut your paper as well as a sketch to show what should be done with those cuts. Of course feel free to mix it up to your own liking.

Hello crafty friends! Today I have another 6x6 Paper Pad tutorial this time featuring Michaels Reollections Say Freeze 6x6 Paper Pad. There are cut aparts in the paper pad which made for some very quick designs but I'm going to be sharing sketches and templates that will make it easy to recreate any cards you like with this or any other paper pad. With this process I can easily whip up a bunch of cards for card drives like Cards for Hospitalized Kids. I've never done a blog post quite like this one, but I have a lot of information and resources to share and will try to be as clear as possible. 38 Cards with Authentique Hunting 6x6 Paper Pad

Hello crafty friends! Today I have another 6x6 paper pad tutorial this time featuring Authentique. I am obsessed with 6x6 pads because it is so easy to create a bunch of cards without using many extra supplies. I picked out this paper pad because it was unique and an interest that may be less served. I donate most of my cards and if you want more info on donating cards or get jokes for your cards please check out my Card Drive Resources page. Upon reflection I think I will send many of these cards to Cards for Soldiers but I think I will also send some to organizations that serve children because I know that hunting is an important part of family life for many. So today I'm using the Authentique Hunting 6x6 paper pad to make 38 cards! To see it all in action check out the video.

I decided to try something a bit different and use only my One Sheet Wonder templates to create with this paper pad. That meant no scraps, but also a chance to test if the designs still worked with cut aparts. I also created my 10th One Sheet Wonder and that new resource will be linked below. I made 2 or 4 of most of 11 designs. While you can see the sketch in each picture, under each design I will tell you which One Sheet Wonder template I used and you can head to my One Sheet Wonder page to download the cutting template and sketch. I also chose to skip sentiments for now until I have a better idea of what organization I will send them to and will customize the sentiments to that organization.

I used the leftover cut aparts to make these cards. You could certainly add more than one cut apart to some of the others designs if you prefer but I think once I add sentiments these will be a great simple design on their own.
