32 Christmas Cards with Recollections by Michaels Say Freeze Collection

Hello crafty friends! Today I have another 6x6 Paper Pad tutorial this time featuring Michaels Reollections Say Freeze 6x6 Paper Pad. There are cut aparts in the paper pad which made for some very quick designs but I'm going to be sharing sketches and templates that will make it easy to recreate any cards you like with this or any other paper pad. With this process I can easily whip up a bunch of cards for card drives like Cards for Hospitalized Kids. I've never done a blog post quite like this one, but I have a lot of information and resources to share and will try to be as clear as possible. When making these cards I successfully created all the cards without have any patterned paper scraps. In order to help you do the same, if you would like, I am sharing cutting templates and sketches. You can mix and match these templates and suggestions with my One Sheet Wonders to further increase the possible cards if your paper pad has more paper or if you are not a fan of one these particular designs. I made 2 of many designs and 4 of others because this paper pad came with 2 of each sheet, but the size of the sheets meant that one sheet could make two card fronts. Keep scrolling to see pictures of different designs and get some measurements. I added in a single sentiment stamp cut with a banner die (finished banners measure .5 by 2.5 inches) and some adhesive gems. I made my card bases out of kraft paper because the paper had a lot of ivory so I liked the kraft better than white in this instance. Any leftovers are glued inside the cards for added decoration.

There are cut aparts in the paper pad which made for some very easy designs. Their designs are pretty and I can easily whip up a bunch of cards for card drives like Cards for Hospitalized Kids. If you want more info on donating cards or get jokes for your cards please check out my Card Drive Resources page. Also note that this paper pad has glitter and while it doesn't shed very much (didn't notice any coming off) some organizations ask for cards without glitter. Hello crafty friends! Today I have another 6x6 Paper Pad tutorial this time featuring P13 Christmas Treats. This is a new to me company but I am loving their designs. There are cut aparts in the paper pad as well as designs printed on the back of the covers that can be used as card elements. Their designs are beautiful and I can easily whip up a bunch of cards for card drives like Cards for Hospitalized Kids. Using the cardstock allowed me to get much more out of these papers and I think it worked really well because of the subtle delicate designs and color palette. All leftover paper (not much) and extra diecuts cut from the covers was glued inside the cards for added decoration. Everything about the entire pad was used on these cards except the scraps from cutting the elements from the front cover.
