Have a Boo-tiful Day

Hello Crafty Friends! Today I have a card for the Lawnscaping Challenge to make a Halloween card. I totally loved this card by Pretty Paper Ink and had to give the concept a try. For the sky I used Distress Ink and Glimmer Mist and masked off a circle for the moon. I arranged some silhouettes to make a scene and added a touch of patterned paper from Lawn Fawn to finish it off.

See a supply list below for more. I tried to mix it up a bit for my take by adding the trees and the vellum layer.

Happy Sweater Weather

Hello Crafty Friends! Today I have a card for the Newton's Nook blog. When I saw this dog from Holiday Hounds I knew I wanted to have him running into the pile of leaves from Wagon of Wishes. I used some accessories from a bunch of other sets and then watercolored the entire scene.

Merry Christmas

Hello crafty friends. I have a simple Christmas card and video featuring some new additions of the Butterfly Reflections Ink shop. You can watch the video for more on my process.

My starting inspiration was the deer from Paper Smooches A Holy Holiday. I thought it would look great as a silhouette with a snowy background using the Memory Box Winter Tiny Snowflakes. I used some Hero Arts Unicorn White ink to make the snowflakes.

For the sentiment I wanted to use this bold sentiment set and dies from WPlus9. I love word dies and this one is so pretty and elegant for the Christmas season. You could of course just get the stamp set but I like the versatility of the dies and they are a great price. For gluing down the dies I recommend Multi Medium Matte from Ranger as it does not leave any residue if it leaks out from under the sentiment.

Joyful Wishes

Hello crafty friends! Today I have a card and video share for the Lawnscaping Facebook Inspiration Team Design Team Call. The challenge was simple: create a card that shows off your personal style.  In the video I talk about my process a little but it is a rather straight forward card this time around.

I love the Lawnscaping challenges because I love Lawn Fawn products and so I would so be honored to work with them.

Check out the link to find out more about how you can try out.
