Pumpkin Spice Shop Challenge #3

Here's a simple card created with my Paper Made Bakery kit and for the Pumpkin Spice Shop challenge to make a card with a coffee theme. I love coffee and tend to drink mine in to go cups from Dunkin so this coffee cup is my favorite one from the Hot, Hot, Hot stamp set from Fresh Squeezed Stamps.

Cards from the Heart Drive

Winter Sims is hosting the 4th annual Cards from the Heart Card Drive. So I decided to try and use up some of my valentine paper scraps and create some simple valentines. I also got my kindergarten class involved. I stamped some fun and cute Lawn Fawn images for them to color as a starting point for their cards. One of my students decided to write "flap, flap" to show the griffin was flying but it came out a bit mixed up. However they had lots of fun and I think that these cards will be enjoyed. Follow the link to find out how you can get involved.

Anything But a Card Challenge 11: Tie It Up

I created the cute coffee treat holder for the latest challenge at Anything But a Card. This week we are challenging you to "Tie It Up" which is basically to use fibers in some way. As you can see I used some ribbon and some twine. All the supplies for this treat holder (including the holder) are from my Paper Made Bakery Kit with the Hot, Hot, Hot stamp set from Fresh Squeezed Stamps.

Shopping Our Stash 85: Suits Me to a T

Recently I've been working on a simple mini album about my trip to the Eric Carle museum in Massachusetts. My grams and I went over the summer with the primary motivation being to meet Mo Willems.

As I was working on it I saw the challenge over at Shopping Our Stash and knew it would be simple to fit it in. My T items are the color teal and the title Today. The journaling above is also on a tag that I cut the top off of. I'm glad I found a project to match those tags because the color in a little tricky for me.

Shopping Our Stash 84: Use Old Buttons

I seem to be much more inspired to create Christmas cards now that the season is over but at least I will have some ready for next year when I hit the Christmas creative slump again. This week at Shopping Our Stash they are asking for old buttons. While most of my card is from my relatively new November Paper Made Bakery kit, the buttons are from a variety of past kits. I always have a few buttons left over when I've created my 10 kit cards and I add them to a cute owlie dish on my table which I raided for this project.

Anything But a Card Challenge 10: Things with Wings

Our first challenge for 2013 at Anything But a Card is Things with Wings. I love that this challenge is so simple that you could create a wide range of projects. I used it to get a jump start on Valentine's day by making a treat holder with some butterflies. The paper is from my new Paper Made Bakery Kit but the 'sweet' sticker and the Kreaxions butterfly punch are old products from my stash so this is perfect for the Our Daily Bread Designs new/old challenge too.

Jingle Belles 13:01 Look What Santa Brought Me

Jingle Belles is a challenge blog aimed at getting Christmas cards done before December. Participating in their challenges has certainly saved me come December so I'm hoping to fit in a few challenges this year as well. Their first challenge of the year is "Look What Santa Brought Me" where you use some brand new goodies. So in this card I used some brand new paper borders and my Paper Made Bakery November kit.
