Fresh Squeezed Stamps has issued their monthly challenge entitled Squeeze A Palooza and this month the theme is Easter. I didn't have any Easter themed stamps from Fresh Squeezed stamps but I printed off the free digi sentiment and combined it with Weather Through and The Sweet Life. It may not be very traditional but I think it turned out quite cute.

Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge
I'm sharing an entry into the Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge. I used a free star digi stamp although I did buy my first set of Paper Smooches stamps last weekend. This card will be going into my next box to Operation Write Home as an Any Hero card. I encourage any and all card makers to create and send Any Hero mail. It will be sure to brighten the day of a hard working military man or woman and can give you a reason to use up some stash. The best part, Paper Smooches has a fantastic set that benefits Operation Write Home called Circle of Honor. A definite on my wish list!
Below is my first box of Operation Write Home cards. It included 53 pieces of Any Hero mail along with 269 cards for heroes to send home but I hope to beat that Any Hero number with the next box my mom and I are working on.

Anything But a Card 15
Hello! I'm here to share the latest Anything But a Card challenge. For Challenge 15 we are asking for something Spring-y or spring colors, or Alice in Wonderland! I created these super simple Easter baskets. I mounted these adorable felt bunnies over the hearts on what were once valentine boxes. When shopping clearance after a holiday always think outside the box.

Mama Elephant Sketch Challenge 2
I'm participating in the Mama Elephant sketch challenge. I used the We Click set with it's super trendy camera images. I think that sentiment is perfect for an everyday pick me up card. I stamped the cameras to create a simple pattern at the top and layered on a little strip of the camera paper from Cosmo Cricket's Twenty Three line to tie it the PP to the stamps.

Anything But a Card Challenge 14
I have a new challenge from Anything But a Card for you today. Challenge 14: Anything Green or Irish or St. Patrick's Day. I love the challenges that seem really broad because we get such a big response of inspiring projects. So I hope you take this opportunity to create a fun little St. Patty's day gift or decor item. My project is an old vitamin container I altered to fill with candy for the holiday. I love being able to take something that was basically garbage and reuse it because it saves me money and means just slightly less trash in the end. The hat embellishment was created using Lawn Fawn's Hats Off to You set.

Stamper's Best My Hero Set
I am committed to sending a box of cards to Operation Write Home. In fact my box is full now and will be going out next weekend after my mom and sister add any extras they have. I wanted to send some Any Hero mail with my box though and this is where Stamper's Best comes in. Not only do they offer fabulous military themed stamp sets perfect for Any Hero mail they also donate $1 for each Operation Write Home set a customer buys. So I bought the My Hero Sentiments set and my order came with fab Operation Write Home stamp below (which you need for the back of the cards you send). I am so happy with the quality of this set and have used them on all my Any Hero cards.
Below are two simple cards I made to send as Any Hero mail featuring my current favorite sentiment from the set. It sums up the purpose of the card and the star for the 'dot on the i' is a great touch.

Little Tangles #7
The newest Little Tangles challenge from Neat and Tangled stamps is a sketch challenge. It took me two tries but I created this simple card with Crate Paper paper and the Little Bear set. I have been using up paper and making cards for Operation Write Home and this one will be in the box I'm sending soon.
