Sketch Girl 15

Sketch Girl #15 is now up! Its a fun simple sketch with a fab sponsor!

Phindy's Place is our sponsor. Phindy's Place digital stamps is a new venture for children's book illustrator Philomena O'Neill (aka Phindy). She was sweet enough to give our designers the opportunity to work with one of her newest releases - Easter Joy. I love this stamp and as you can see if became the main feature of my card.

Would you like the chance to win a $10 gift certificate to Phindy's Place? Of course you want to win! To win, all you need to do is play along with Sketch Girl #15! You have until April 14th at 9 pm EST to link up your creation.

I'm having trouble getting a good picture of this card but the top picture shows the colors pretty good and is a great detailed close-up of Phindy's stamp.

Check out the other Sketch Girls and what they've done with Phindy's amazing stamp!

Some Layouts

I'm always quiet at the beginning to the week because school is busy then so I decided to share these two LOs with you. These pics are from last Easter just like the LO I just posted so I thought I would share them with you as well. The are both predominantly Sassafras Lass and feature my cousins with their dogs. A paper and a midterm will keep me bogged down at the beginning of this week but I'm looking forward to a craft show on Thursday and Easter weekend coming up. Plus I'm really excited about the apartment complex we visited today and the possibility that the hunt for a place is almost over.

Bo Bunny Layout Challenge

Bo Bunny issued a layout challenge on Friday for a spring LO. I've had these photos of my cousin since last Easter and it was the perfect challenge to get them scrapped. I combined lots of Bo Bunny paper with some rub-ons, doodling, and gems. I think Jana. the jeep lover in question, will love it.

Basic Grey with CPS

One of my new treats from the LSS was Basic Grey's new Green at Heart papers and stickers. This was perfect for the Basic Grey challenge this week to be inspired by fruit. These colors are very fruity in my opinion. I also used the CPS sketch this week which was super simple but very fun. This weekend we're doing some apartment hunting and I've got some homework but I'm determined to get some crafting done as well.

Simon Says Spring with Glimmer

Last night I made a quick spring themed card, but made it a thanks sentiment because I have quite a stock of simply spring cards. Simon Says Challenge this week asked for spring and glimmer and this is what I've got. I pulled out some Basic Grey Lemonade added some gems and glittered gel pen faux stitching. I hope to get some more crafting done this weekend because I have new goodies from the LSS. I know I need to buy less and make more, but the trip was a gift so I couldn't resist.

Two More Cards

I've been making so many cards lately because I've been on spring break this past week but as of tomorrow I will be back in school mode. Before things slow down on my blog I have two more cards to share with you. First up is another card for the 2S4Y sketch this week. I've used some SEI papers and a tag. It's a simple card but a lot of friends will be graduating with me this year so a stock on congrats cards would be good.

Next up my friend asked if I could make a mother's day card for her over break. I used the Caardvarks challenge of a photo inspiration. The green and white with the butterflies were the main inspiration for me. Unfortunately I didn't get around to posting this in time for the challenge but I hope my friend will like it. SEI Monthly Challenge

SEI issued their monthly challenge to use scraps and items that can be found in a sewing box. I use some scraps from SEI's Penelope's Potpourri and then added stitching and button. This is also perfect for the Pink Elephant challenge to use spring colors and the Pile It On challenge to use pastels.
