24 Christmas Cards with Michaels Recollections Holiday Homestead 6x6 Paper Pad

 

Hello crafty friends! Today I have another 6x6 Paper Pad tutorial this time featuring Michaels Recollections Holiday Homestead 6x6 Paper Pad. There are cut aparts in the paper pad which made for some very easy designs. Their designs are pretty and I can easily whip up a bunch of cards for card drives like Cards for Hospitalized Kids. I made 2 of many designs because this paper pad came with 2 of each sheet. Keep scrolling to see pictures of different designs and get some measurements. I added in a single sentiment stamp and some red and black cardstock. Using the cardstock allowed me to get a bit more out of these papers and allowed me to make the small tags more of a focal point on the cards. Any leftovers are glued inside the cards for added decoration.

40 Christmas Cards from P13 Christmas Treats 6x6 Paper Pad

 

Hello crafty friends! Today I have another 6x6 Paper Pad tutorial this time featuring P13 Christmas Treats. This is a new to me company but I am loving their designs. There are cut aparts in the paper pad as well as designs printed on the back of the covers that can be used as card elements. Their designs are beautiful and I can easily whip up a bunch of cards for card drives like Cards for Hospitalized Kids. Using the cardstock allowed me to get much more out of these papers and I think it worked really well because of the subtle delicate designs and color palette. All leftover paper (not much) and extra diecuts cut from the covers was glued inside the cards for added decoration. Everything about the entire pad was used on these cards except the scraps from cutting the elements from the front cover.

MFT Sketch and SSS Wednesday Make It Sparkle Challenges

 

Hello crafty friends! I was having a bit of a creative block the other day and so I decided to do what I often do when that hits and make some cards for a challenge. I started with the My Favorite Things Sketch challenge and combined it with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge to Make it Sparkle. 

I decided to make two cards because I had two strips of the orange paper and I thought it would be fun to color two critters from the set. The sparkle comes from the black glitter cardstock banners and mat behind the orange. I LOVE MFT sketches and recommend downloading and printing the PDF so you have plenty of ideas when you lose your crafty mojo. 

Reverse Confetti Stock Your Stash October 2020 Thanksgiving and Friendship

 

Hello crafty friends! Today I have a set of cards for the Reverse Confetti Stock Your Stash challenge. I purchased the This Says is All stamp set because I wanted to color in the sentiments to give them a great presence on a card. But for today's cards and video I decided to switch it up and use a bunch of the sentiments to create a background. I've use stacked sentiments on cards many times and this set is perfect for it. You can check out the video for more. 

The Stock Your Stash challenge for the month of October 2020 is Thanksgiving and Friendship theme. I decided to go the friendship route since I did not need any Thanksgiving cards. I love all the encouraging sentiments in this stamp set.

33 Cards with Doodlebug Designs Anchors Aweigh 6x6 Paper Pad and Stickers

Hello crafty friends! Today I have another 6x6 Paper Pad tutorial featuring Doodlebug. I am obsessed with Doodlebug 6x6 pads because it is so easy to create a bunch of cards without using many extra supplies. I think their designs are adorable and I can easily whip up a bunch of cards for card drives like Cards for Hospitalized Kids. If you want more info on donating cards or get jokes for your cards please check out my Card Drive Resources page. So today I'm using the Doodlebug Anchors Aweigh 6x6 paper pad and the coordinating stickers while making 33 cards! This one is a bit different because I started making these cards a few years ago and no longer have that footage but when I was downsizing my crafting space I decided to tackle old projects as a way to making space. There is also a stitched banner die, some extra cardstock, and the "waving hello" sentiment from a Lawn Fawn set. Many of these items can be substituted with what you already have on hand. While these videos are primarily meant to show how much you can do with a single paper pack many viewers have expressed they also appreciate ideas for using up some stash items as well.
